  • Development of Multi Modal Logistic Parks

    The board has commenced activity for the development of Multi Modal Logistic Park (MMLP) for following locations.

    -Ahmedabad – Surendranagar MMLP

    -Surat – Hazira MMLP

    -Palanpur – Mehsana MMLP

    -Bharuch – Dahej MMLP

    -Dholera Special Investment Region MMLP

  • GIDB is declared and designated as a Special Investment Region Apex Authority under Section 5 of the SIR Act 2009. Accordingly, GIDB discharges all functions assigned to it for any SIR declared under the Provisions of the SIR Act.
  • Development of Road Projects under Public Private Partnership.

    Following road project under implementation with public private partnership.

    -Suigam – sindhada Road.

    -Bagodara – Tarapur – Vasad.

    -Bhavnagar – Bagodara.

  • The developer selection process commenced and pre-qualification of developer under progress. Development of Tourism Projects – Rajkot.

    GIDB underook feasibility studies for following sites to be developed as Tourism spot at Rajkot.

    -Aji Dam site.

    -Nyari Dam site.

    -Convention center.

  • Development of Ports

    GIDB approved the sub-concession agreement for the development of Bulk and General Cargo Port at Hazira. The total project cost is Rs.2,258/- crore.

    GIDB has also approved selection of developers for following port projects; Khambhat, Sutrapada, Simar & Mahuva

  • Road Projects development

    GIDB approved the bid document and concession agreement of state highways i.e. 350 km to be developed under PPP annuity basis. It has also accorded in-principle consent for 5 Rail Over Bridge proposed on the Dedicated Freight Corridor.

  • Twin city development

    The Board approved the concept of Twin city development and undertaken studies. The study for Surat-Navsari , Bharuch.-Ankleshwar ,) Nadiyad-Anand, Surendranagar-Wadhwan, and Morbi-Wankaner have been undertaken.

  • Development of Transport Nagar

    Board approved the proposal of Vadodara Urban Development Authority and Jamnagar Urban Development Authority for the development of Transport Nagar near Vadodara and Jamnagar.

  • Blue Print of Infrastructure in Gujarat — BIG 2020 document

    Considering the development of Dedicated Fright Corridor, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Finance Tech City, Special Investment Regions and MOUs entered into in Vibrant Gujarat event, the Board has undertaken study on infrastructure requirement upto 2020. The BIG 2020 document is prepared and finalized, the document includes 19 infrastructure sectors and approximately Rs. 11,80,912.00 crore investment is envisaged.
