- Gujarat is once again placed in the "Achievers" category in LEADS - 2023. Department for Promotion of
Industry and Internal Trade & Govt. of India has been releasing the report on annual survey on the Logistics
Ease Across Different States (LEADS) since 2018 to benchmark Logistics performance across States. Gujarat was
ranked 1st in all the previous rankings, i.e., 2018, 2019 and 2021 & has been ranked under “Achievers”
category (Which is the top performing State category) in the year 2022.

Decision taken in 37th Board Meeting
In 37th Board meeting of GIDB, it was resolved to approve the sub-concession agreement proposed by the Gujarat
Maritime Board for the development of LNG Terminal at Chhara.
The Board has decided on developer selection of brown field port at Bhavnagar under section 10 of Gujarat
Infrastructure Development Act, 1999. The developer selection process has been completed.
Decision taken in 68th Executive Committee Meeting
Draft concession agreement for Ro Ro ferry service between Ghogha and Dahej was approved. Proposal for change in
technical partner for the LNG terminal with FSRC facility ( M/s Swan LNG Ltd) was approved. A proposal to approve
concession agreement for the development of LNG port terminal with FSRU facility on BOOT basis was approved.
Ammendments in the concession agreement for (1) Ahmedabad-Viramgam-Malia (2) Rajkot- Jamnagar-Vadinar , and (3)
Halol-Godhra-Shamalji road projects were approved.
Decision taken in 69th Executive Committee Meeting
Ammendments in Ghogha-Dahej Ro Ro ferry service concession agreement were approved. Award of the studies for Railway
Master Plan of the State and pre-feasibility study for Vayor-Kotehwar new railway line was approved.
Decision taken in 36th Board Meeting
Proposal for development of CNG and other terminal on the north part of Bhavnagar Port under section 10 of the
Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act,1999 was given in-principle approval. It was decided that Board may undertake
studies on the potential of the development of Pirotan and Shiyal-bet Island.
