About Gujarat

 
Gujarat is a land entrepreneur. It’s land with strong fundamentals. It’s a land of grit & grandeur, a land of marvels, manifestations and celebrations. A large number of its Diaspora further enrich this environment by bringing back home the learning from all across the globe. That is why Gujarat, which is a compassionate society, also has a cosmopolitan lifestyle where warmth and happiness, progress and delight are all pervasive.

Located on the western coast of India, Gujarat represents 5% of India’s population and 6% of its area. Gujarat has been growing at a double digit growth rate- the highest among Indian states. And its high-growth story rests on strong foundations- its robust infrastructure.

Gujarat’s strength in Infrastructure has been combined with some unique natural advantages. The Arabian Sea acts as the state’s waterway to the rest of the world. Gujarat has the country’s longest coastline of 1600 km. Making up a gateway to overseas markets and a vast hinterland of Northern and Central India. Gujarat has had a rich heritage of maritime trade through some of its earliest ports in human history.
