Government of Gujarat through GIDB has prepared a vision document, Blueprint for Infrastructure in Gujarat (BIG) – 2020. BIG – 2020 provides acomprehensive view of all the infrastructure sectors and seamlessly integrates them into a synchronised, synergistic, 'Holistic Plan in order to improve the quality of the life of the people and achieve faster economic growth in the state of Gujarat. It has identified a shelf of projects and investments required across road sector to be implemented on priority basis for the inclusive growth of the state.
