Power projects

• The Naptha/LNG based power project at Pipavav is to be implemented during 2002-2007. It is planned with the capacity of 615 MW with the project cost of Rs 2000 crores. 
• The imported coal/LNG based Mega power project at pipavav is with 2000 MW capacity.
• GMB Plan for providing terminal facilities for Ro-Ro ferry service along with cargo handling facilities.

RailL Linkage -

• Mundra - Adipur rail link commisioned.
• Palanpur-Kandla-Mundra BG Line construction under progress. 

SEZ Project

• SEZ  to be developed by developer  in an area of 3000 ha. And an investment of Rs 1000 crores. The feasibility is over and Project to be developed on PSP basis.

• Power project promoted by Essar with the capacity of 108 MW already completed.
• Naptha/Gas based power project at Hazira –I with the capacity of 160 MW and the project cost of Rs 500 crores.The PSP is to be identified . The EPC has been awarded and notice to proceed date-29/05/2000. The project is implemented.
• Naptha/Gas based power project at Hazira –II with the capacity of 180 MW and the project cost of Rs 500 crores. The pre feasibility is completed and fuel linkage is obtained. The project is  implemented .

Road Link

• Widening to Four lane of 10 Km Ichchhapre –Hazira road having project cost Rs 12 crores. The construction is complete, the road is open to Traffic and operationalized.

Rail  Link

• The rail connectivity to the Hazira port is being planned.  An MOU has been signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global investors Summit 2005 expressing intension to develop the line.  MOU has been signed between RVNL, Govt of Gujarat, Shell (i) Ltd. and Essar Ltd.

• GMB Plan for providing terminal facilities for Ro-Ro ferry service along with cargo handling facilities.

Road Link

• Four laning of Dahej Bharuch road proposed. 

Rail Link

• Dahej Bharuch BG Rail line is proposed strengthening from meter gauge to Broad gauge which is under consideration by  Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.  An MOU has been signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global investors Summit 2005 expressing intension to develop the line.

SEZ

• The land has been identified for the port based Chemical and Petro Chemical SEZ.  An SPV has been formed with GIDC and ONGC as partners.  The strategic partner for operation of the SEZ shall be identified in due course.
